Prayer Week: 23-27 September 2024
"Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ."
Paul wrote these words to the church in Colossae around AD62. They are still entirely applicable for us today in 2024!
Our prayer week runs from Monday 23rd Sept to Friday 27th Sept. There will be lots of different prayer meetings, taking place in different places at different times, some in-person and some online. Please see below for more details. We will also shared prayer points on our NewComChurch WhatsApp channel.

Prayer Slots

On Monday throughout the day we will be praying for the nations and unreached people groups. There will be an interactive prayer space at the Sidcup building in room 7. Sign up for a slot and pray from your home or in the building. Prayer points and ideas are included on the document below!

Tuesday 9.30am Prayer & Worship at the Sidcup building
Thursday 12:30pm Lunchtime Online prayer meeting for healing and breakthrough

Tuesday
7:30pm Everyone come to join us to pray for our NextGen at the Sidcup building.
Wednesday
We will gather in different locations to pray for kingdom advance in our local communities.

- North of the borough: 6:30pm Northumberland Heath Baptist Church, Belmont Rd, Erith DA8 1LB (Pizza from 6.30pm followed by worship & prayer from 7pm. There will also be prayer activities available for kids!)
Friday
4pm Prayer and Pizza for families with primary aged children down. Everyone is required to book in and you can do so here
10pm We will gather for late night worship and prayer from 10pm-1am at our Sidcup building.
Come to as many meetings as you can, or family/work responsibilities allow. The most important thing is to pray!
