Get baptised this Easter Sunday!
What better way to celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection than by getting baptised?
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward decision and commitment to follow Jesus. The Bible tells us to "repent and be baptised" (Acts 2:38) and we believe that scripture is clear that baptism means full immersion in water. When we go under the water of baptism it is as if we are dying with Christ, burying our sin with him. When we come out of the water we share in the resurrection of Jesus. Our sin stays buried, but we are made alive. You can find more information of what we believe about baptism here.
This Easter Sunday (9th April) we'd love to baptise anyone who has made this commitment. If you are considering getting baptised, speak to a member of the host team at a Sunday meeting, your community leader or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
