NewCom Weekend Away

Moments where we can come together as one big church family are always special - but they can be difficult to organise due to limitations of time and space. And that's why we have our Church Weekend Away! This will be an opportunity for us to gather for quality, extended time together, away from normal day to day life.  It will be a weekend of fun, teaching, connecting and enjoying time together as a church family as well as celebrating New Community turning 50 years old! There are various options for catering and accommodation including camping, rooms on site and day passes.  👉 Book your camping & house tickets, here. 👉 Book your weekend & day tickets, here.

Who is Jesus

The Easter story is all about hope and new life.

Evidence

Resurrection? Exploring the Evidence

The apostle Paul says that if the resurrection is not real, then Christians should be pitied more than all people (1 Corinthians 15:19). Why does it matter? And what is the evidence?

Resurrection

Did Jesus Really Rise from the Dead?

The resurrection of Jesus is the central claim of Christianity. For many, this is the hardest thing to believe, perhaps understandably, after all, dead people don’t just come back to life. So, is there any real evidence that Jesus rose from the dead? Or is it just wishful thinking or ancient myth?

So What...

Why Easter matters to us

If Jesus really did rise from the dead, then it confirms who he said he was. It means death isn’t the end. It means forgiveness, new life, and hope are possible. And it means the story of Jesus isn’t just ancient history — it’s a message for you and me today.

FAQs

Everything you need to know about Easter at New Community, all in one place.

What time do services start?

Do I need to book a seat?

No! Simply arrive early to find a seat where you feel comfortable. There will be space for everyone, and if you’d like to let us know you’re coming, you can let us know through our Contact page.

Is there parking available?

Unfortunately, there is no parking at our building. The best place to park is on the streets surrounding the church building. Please be sensitive in how you park - we love our neighbours!

What if I’m new to church?

Easter is a great time to explore faith and ask questions about Jesus. We’d love to join you on your journey; to answer any questions you might have, and chat to you about what to expect. If you’d like to find out more about what church life looks like here at New Community, check out our I’m New page.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, absolutely! We love having children with us and we run a brilliant Kids Church for all under 11s. You will need to register your child with us on a Sunday (a quick and simple process), and you can drop them off up to 10 minutes before the start of the adult meeting to make sure they are settled. All of our Kids Church team are DBS checked.
