Loving Our Neighbours

Across Bexley, Greenwich and the surrounding areas, we serve families, support those facing hardship, partner with local organisations and work together for the good of our boroughs.

Impact

We believe that love is most demonstrated through action

This is part of who we are. Every week ordinary people, who care deeply about others, choose to love and serve those in our community in many different ways. There’s lots going on, in lots of different locations, and there’s lots of ways for you to be involved.

Mission

What we do

Many people first encounter New Community through our work serving local families and communities across South East London.

Get involved

There’s always room for more hands and hearts, and we’d love for you to be a part of seeing change happen in our local communities.

Partnerships

Our Local, National and Global Partners

We partner with organisations doing vital work throughout South East London, the rest of the UK and across the globe.

Foodbank: Bexley & Greenwich

We partner with our local Trussell Trust Foodbanks to support those needing emergency support for people left without enough money to live on.

Homeless Projects

Bexley Winter Night Shelter & Greenwich Homeless Project

We support and volunteer with our local homeless projects, helping those experiencing homelessness in our local area.

Safe Families & Home for Good

We believe that no family should feel alone and every child should have a home where they can flourish. We partner with Safe Families and Home for Good to support isolated families and find a home for every child that needs one.

Sidcup Youth Hub

Run in partnership with Bexley Council. Helping to give young people aged 11-18 a fun and safe space in our local community.

We partner with Jubilee+ to change the lives of those facing poverty in our community.

Kids Matter

We run Kids Matter parenting programmes in our local community to equip parents and carers with the tools they need to build strong relationships and strong families.

Power The Fight

We support Power the Fight as they seek to empower communities to end violence affecting young people.

IJM

We stand with IJM to build safe communities in the Philippines and around the world until all are free from violence and slavery.
