Healthy things mature. What is true in the natural, is also true in the spiritual. Scripture commands us to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).
At New Community, we talk about making disciples, family members, and missionaries. But what does growing in these things actually look like?
A helpful picture for Christian growth can be found in Psalm 1, where the believer is pictured as a tree planted in streams of living water, growing and bearing fruit.
