Leading Others: Onboarding Training
Welcome 👋 to the next step of your leadership development journey here at NewCom. As part of getting you ready for your new leadership role we want to make sure you have all the tools and help you need.
Our onboarding training for leadership roles at NewCom involve two things: (1) completing our general training and (2) completing any ministry specific training that the role you are about to step into might entail (this might include practical training or things like safeguarding and so on).
Here you will find all of the general introductions to leading others at NewCom and instructions for what you need to do next:
1. Introduction to Leading Others: The Big Picture
Listen to the podcast (coming soon!) and then read, consider, and discuss the questions and reflection exercises (with the relevant training leader who is responsible for onboarding you)
2. Leading Others: Living Out Our Values
Listen to the podcast that covers our six core values at NewCom. It is in three parts. Reflect on and discuss the questions here (again, with the person who is responsible for onboarding you into your new role).
