Serving the Body

The Apostle Paul illustrates this beautifully:
"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." (1 Corinthians 12:27)
This metaphor emphasises that every believer has a unique role, contributing to the health and function of the whole body. When we serve within the church, we not only fulfil our God-given purpose but also strengthen our community and reflect Christ's love to others.
Why Serve the Body?
1. Spiritual Growth: Serving allows us to exercise our faith, develop humility, and grow in Christlike character.
2. Community Building: Active participation fosters deeper relationships, unity, and a sense of belonging among believers.
3. Kingdom Impact: Through service, we contribute to the church's mission, reaching others with the gospel and meeting tangible needs.
