The Better Story

In the midst of our cultural confusion, anxiety and search for meaning, is there a better story?

You are invited to explore The Better Story

In the midst of our cultural confusion, anxiety and search for meaning, is there a better story? What if we weren’t just here by accident, just floating meaninglessly through the galaxy? What if we were made on purpose, for a purpose? What if there was a creator who designed us, formed us and invites us into a way of life that is for our good, for our happiness and flourishing?

During The Better Story series we explored God’s good plan for every area of our lives, for relationships, sex, sexuality, our bodies and identity.

Each week we discussed these topics and invite you to join, whether you’re a follower of Jesus wanting to learn more or someone who’s not a church regular but interested in exploring faith and these themes more.

As well as weekly talks on Sunday there were podcasts interviews to delve further into the topics.

You can listen on Soundcloud, Apple, Spotify and Amazon and watch on YouTube.

Discuss

A central aspect of this series will be teaching about the importance of friendship and community. Exploring the complexities and highs and lows of life is done best when it’s done with others. That’s why we have Communities - smaller gatherings of people across the local area where we can share life and grow together. There are discussion guides provided for our communities which will allow you to dive deeper, look at what the Bible has to say and make space to ask your questions.

If you’re not already part of a community you can sign up at www.newcom.church/communities
